Why can't I delete or save pictures to SD card?

I own a BLU Studio 5.0 LTE phone (running android 4.3) and for a couple of weeks now I can't save or delete a picture from my micro SD card. When I delete a picture (or several pictures) it comes back. When I take a picture I can't view it and it disappears after a while. I factory reset my phone and even downloaded a new camera app. The new camera app will save the picture in a different file. Then after a while it will disappear. I took my SD card out and took some pictures but I didn't wait long enough to figure out if it saved the picture. Any suggestions would be helpful.

From the behaviour you are describing, it sounds as if the SD card might be corrupted. Have you tried other types of files? Downloading a file from the browser, or recording a video, etc? When an SD card becomes 'read only' like that, out of the blue, its often a sign that it is on the way to failing completely.
