How do I get the duplicate messages to stop?

What happened, was that my LG G3 kept saying that my messages were still sending. They still say that, but the other person got my messages anyway. To try to get my messaging to stop saying sending, I went to the sprint zone, and tested the messaging. Now I keep getting messages from myself saying "sms test message". How do I get it to stop?

Sounds like a network issue, where Sprint thinks the message hasn't gone when it has. First I would change carriers (no seriously change carriers) so since changing carriers isn't likely a good option, I would definitely check with their support since it really sounds network related. Could always try the reset thing. I think Sprint doesn't lock the bootloader down, and if so you may find some custom ROM"s to your liking.
