Factory Reset Or New Software

my android phone get slower and lagging i tried factory reset option but it's just a short time and get slower again .. now if i setup a new software would it differ ??

What phone, what OS version (ex 4.2.2), what apps are you installing?

Your phone starts lagging because of the amount of apps installed , app leftovers and other things like that , try using clean master from the playstore and uninstall any apps that you don't normally use , you can also boot into recovery and wipe the cache and if that doesn't work then have a look into rooting your device because with root privileges you can seriously make some changes that would super boost the speed of your device , I hope that helps ....
