    My Galaxy S5 has been running hot ALL the time, and super slow since the lollipop update. I want to try to reset the settings as suggested by other posts, but I'm a little nervous. I'm in the process of backing up right now to Verizon Cloud.

    You can probably back up to KIES faster than the Verizon Cloud. If you have all your contacts saved to Google you should be good on that part. As far as app data I would just re install all the apps so that you insure nothing goes wrong.
