    ATT says there is no way to get voicemails back that have been deleted due to time over 30 days. They were the ones that said resaving them would keep them, but while the local support folks said they should be there, everyone else says too bad.

    If it was a law enforcement issue, I bet they could get them. These were the last few messages from my wifes sister that passed away from a sudden stroke. Extrememely important to get these back to record.

    Welcome to Android Central! My condolences. But it's really an AT&T issue. If they're on the server somewhere, you could try escalating your customer service calls to higher levels. But ultimately, it's up to AT&T. They're not required by law to retrieve old voicemails for you--there's probably some fine print buried in the Terms of Agreement that you accepted a while ago that governs that.
