Can I get some help getting phone to turn on?

[AC Question]

My Phone won't turn on. Battery removed during factory reset.

Ok so I did a factory reset on my phone and it was taking unusually long to reset (over 4 hours on the same screen). So I took a drastic measure and took the battery out of my phone. Now the phone won't turn back on at all. Please tell me I didn't brick my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Is it rooted? How long have you tried keeping the power button down for?
