antivirus for coby tablet?

I did a factory reset on my Coby Kyros tablet - bad idea - and now I am trying to get it back to normal. I wonder if I might have picked up a virus before reset since my tablet was acting strange with apps not working right, closing internet screens randomly. Now I keep getting messages that aps are not working. I am not very techno-savy but could use some help.

There are various antivirus and antimalware apps in the Play Store if you want to try them, but the cause of the problem may lie elsewhere. Have you tried booting into Safe Mode, for example? Doing so will test whether a third-party app may be causing trouble.
Also, a bad SD card may be causing trouble, if you are using a card.
