Why Samsung's SMS app makes URLs in SMSs

Hi, I don't use T9, autocorrect or prediction. I use android keyboard, not Samsung's. When I type a message, or recieve one, the conversation shows words, divided by dot (.) as a URL, link, hyperlink or whatnot. It is pretty annoying.I don't make spaces after dots, exclamation marks or question marks. I tried sms settings, keyboard settings, internet settings adn almost everything. Is it possible to turn it off?

Thank you

Re: Why Samsung's SMS app makes URLs in SMSs

Welcome to Android Central! That's pretty standard behavior, and I don't think you can turn it off. Just add a space after each period. Most keyboard apps have an option to automatically add a space after a period.
