Samsung Galaxy Light can't access internet or apps over 4G...is there a fix?

Have a Samsung Galaxy Light on Tmobile network and within the past week I can't access the internet or any apps such as iHeartRadio, CNN, Weatherbug, Google Maps, etc over 4G; only works if connected to WiFi.

I suspect this may be a firmware problem but not sure. I'm aware of someone else with the same phone and they have the same exact problem. Phone calls and texts are fine.

Anyone aware of this issue and/or possible fix? I'm running Android version 4.2.2 and baseband version T399UVUAMJA. Thanks!
