Why does my data connection suddenly turn off itself and not turning on mobile data?

data connection suddenly turn off itself and not turning on mobile data .

i am using galaxy grand 2 duos. i am facing prob from couple of months like my data connection turnoff by itself and then never turns on until i restart it... or some time it shows edge symbol with upload and down arrows but no connectivity is working . i have o go to setting>device manager > select another sim which is not having data connection then E appears and i suddenly switches to another sim having data pack ... now there is good chances of internet to work. what should i do it all happens after i installed few updates given by samsung.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, which may fix it and which will cause no loss of personal data.
