Your device is sensing that a jack-pin has been inserted. You can try inserting a jack-pin and then removing it to see whether it will work or you can try turning on the radio to see whether it will work. There's also a possibility your device's ear piece is dead or the driver isn't working properly, so your phone defaults to a headphone as the next option and therefore shows the icon as a warning that your earpiece is disable or not working. Go to a technician and have the earpiece checked whether its correctly places and whether its working properly.
