    not sure what I have done but all my voice recordings and smemos are gone. nowhere in my file folders. is there a way to recover or a is there a delete file somewhere? thanks

    If you don't recall making a backup of those files then it cannot be retrieved. I would suggest logging into your Samsung Account and see if anything is there and also check your computer to see if you made a backup the last time you connected.

    My Samsung Galaxy S4 took a plunge into some water and, long story short, the only copies I ended up with of my smemo files were on my PC under documents/samsung/smemo/*.snb. To recover these (into .jpg files) just rename the *.snb files as *.zip files, extract them, and under snote/media/ you will find .jpg files. These are images of your memo files.
