    Hi...

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 in August last year, and now I had serious burn in on the screen (it was from a casino site where I play some slots once in a while, sometimes for an hour or two). Is this really enough to make screen burn in? Just to be sure it wasn't only me, I asked my girlfriend if she would try and download "death pixel test" from the play-store, and yep, she had serious burn in too and this was on a Galaxy s3 (she has a ghost image from Facebook, because she's often on FB) - I asked another friend who bought a Galaxy S5 too, in June last year, and she has burn ins too.

I contacted Samsung who told me, that I should contact the seller, and I did, and without any problems I got a new screen on my S5. But now I don't know what to do to prevent it except NOT using the phone for 1-2 hours at the same site, and only use the phone with very low brightness or what? is this an actual error (because they changed the screen) or can I expect the same with the new screen on my S5.

I don't think it's cool to have a phone where I have to run it on a very low brightness and where I should not use it for too long when using it.

Anyone else who suffer from this burn in on their S5's or is it just because I have been "unlucky" to find the 'problems' (sorry my bad English - Im from Denmark).

Welcome to Android Central! Screen burn-in is a known risk with any AMOLED screen, so be cautious with your usage. The main thing to avoid is having the same general image on the screen continuously for hours at a time.
