    i have been rooting my SM-N900 note 3.. using odin and got the tar.md5 file from xda developers .. i put it in pda and started rooting. it finished on odin while on my phone the downloading bar stuck on the middle and after a while it failed. unplugged the phone and wrecked. now when i turn it on it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again. help lease

    If you were just rooting the device you should have just used CFAutoRoot. You will want to download a factory image and re-flash through ODIN.. Once you get that done go to ChainFire's website and find the AutoRoot for your phone. Now when you say you have the SM-N900 what version do you have? There is a letter at the end of it that is very crucial to flashing a ROM or Root for the phone. You don't want to flash a Verizon ROM on to a T-Mobile phone.

    The 900 is one of the international versions.

    Yeah I was figuring that is what it was. The best bet is to install Samsung Kies and get it fixed and then use ChainFire AutoRoot to root the phone.
