Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? Is it a microUSB charging port? If so, any microUSB charging cable and wall plug should work fine. If it's a proprietary charger, then you'll have to search a bit harder for a compatible replacement.

Re: What kind of charger can I use for my tablet

If it's a microUSB charger, the only consideration is the output current (mA). If the charger can't put out enough current, it takes longer to charge the tablet. Since most car chargers put out at least 1000mA, and most tablets can't draw that much current, just about any charger that doesn't burn up (IOW a 50 cent piece of junk) will do.

Even if the tablet doesn't use a microUSB connector, but the cable has a full size USB connector on the other end, most car chargers today are little plug-in things that have USB ports on the back, so you can use the tablet's cable and a regular charger, as long as the tablet's charger puts out 5 Volts (nominally - some go as high as 5.2 Volts).
