Fix storage issues for a WALSUN MODEL NUMBER GT-I9500?

A

AC Question

I cant install more than 2 or 3 apps of my own before it tells me theres not enough space and I have an 8gb memory card that is completely blank and for some reason even though it recognizes the extra storage it wont let me manually install anything.

You are out of space to install apps on your device.

Install this simple little app. It's very small and will install in very limited space. It will tell you how much space you actually have left for installing apps:

To make space you can:
Delete some texts or emails. If you really have lots, this can help.
Uninstall app updates.
Uninstall apps.
Clear caches, but it will only make space temporarily.

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

The phone is a GT-i9500, which sounds like a Samsung model number, but it's not a Samsung phone. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which, with today's apps, isn't enough to install much. (And with 512MB of RAM, it's going to be slow.)

Not sure what phone it is, but you can add a larger microSD card, and if your OS is before KitKat you should be able to move more of the apps to the external card.
