My Samsung Galaxy updated and now I have lost my apps, how can I get them back?

my samsung galaxy updated and now i have lost my apps

i ncluding google play It has also reset my time and deleted my email accounts having trouble restetting gmail up and no way to get my apps back

Which Samsung is it? Was it the Lollipop update on an S5, Note 3 or 4?

If you can log in to your Google account elsewhere you should be OK.
