Why can't I turn OFF reminders on Smart Remote?!

I turned on the reminder for ONE episode of a new show that came on last week & now it sends me a notification EVERY TIME the show re-runs on tv. I've gone on there to push the reminder button to maybe turn it off but it doesn't show up as reminder off.

What the hell do I do? Bc it's really annoying.

Are you able to go to the show in the app and disable the reminder?
