    If you activated data in your plan but didn't take the phone in for configuration, you might need your carrier to either give you the correct settings over the phone (some can even send them and automatically apply them via SMS) or take it to a carrier store and set up the data settings for you.

    If you just activated data but aren't seeing it on your phone, you need to contact your carrier to see what's wrong on their side.

    Also, make sure that the MOBILE DATA option isn't turned off in your device (not all devices have this available) or that you're not in Airplane mode.
