DROID Maxx Hd frozen on red eye screen

[AC Question]

I tried a holding down the power and volume down buttons-no luck. I also tried pressing the volume up button and got to the dead android with the exclamation point but wasn't sure what to do. In all cases, phone reboots and gets stuck at the red eye screen. Went to Verizon store with no luck. They said the only thing is the soft boot.

Try this to get into recovery: Perform a Factory Data Reset (Device Powered Off) DROID RAZR HD RAZR MAXX HD by MOTOROLA | Verizon Wireless

Try clearing the cache and restarting the device. If that doesn't work, you may need to do a reset.
