I just wish to forward a message on S6 edge but it keeps indicating that content has to go to the clipboard - which I cannot find?

    Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

That's an odd one, that you can't forward a text.

There's normally no clipboard available to peruse on Android, when you copy something you have to use it directly.

However, Samsung have had a little trick but I am not sure if it's still available on the S6 or Lollipop.

If I open the Internet browser on my Galaxy Note 3, for example, and press / hold in the url address field, a clipboard will appear with the last 20 clips. They will not save if I power down, but I can select any one of those to paste.

Consider using the excellent Clipper app, which will save clips.

I don't know if you already found this, but if you use the stock keyboard, open any app where you can type and press and hold the mic button to access the pop-up menu and select the paste button, there you will see the clipboard, I took me a while to find it as well.

Welcome to Android Central. There is no Clipboard icon, app, or clipboard storage unless you have a Samsung. The Android 'clipboard' as such just means it is holding the last item copied on the system until you paste it somewhere and replace it with another clipped item/text. On many Samsung's as above, long press in the stock Samsung "Internet" browser to find a virtual clipboard of recently saved/ clipped items, which you can also access via a clipboard (OK!) icon found on one of the keys of the stock Samsung Keyboard.

Best thing is to use the excellent app "Clipper" and you will have a real clipboard and icon.
