I am new (3 months) to Android/Samsung. I just updated my software on Saturday and have noticed that 2 of my apps that were not previously on the SD card before the update does not have the option to move to SD card. It is greyed out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps but the option is still not there.

Welcome to the forums. In order for apps to be moved to the SD card, that has to be supported by the developer. Even if they could be moved, usually only a small portion can be transferred.

And an app that can run from the card on one version of Android may not be able to run from it on another version.
