I got my galexy 5s charge port and charger wet, not yellow triangle with exclamation mark comes on

Charger got wet. Didn't realise plugged it to phone to charge. Phone went off. Then yellow triangle with exclamation mark comes up

Welcome to Android Central! You might have shorted something out. Have you tried other charging cables? If the same thing happens, you may need to bring it to a repair shop.
