How do I get rid of the ugly orange that appears at the top of my phone

After my update my menus bars show an ugly orange.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have an S5? This has been a fairly common aesthetic complaint so far. I don't think you can change it, short of rooting the phone and installing something like Xposed Framework.
