How do I receive group messages from iphone users to my android samsung note 4?

I am trying to receive group messages from my friends both of which are iphone users. I can not receive them. I started a new group message thinking that would work but I still don't receive anything from them in the group message. Please help me!

You can't do anything - they each have to send you at least one message marked as SMS. Then their phones will know to send messages to your number as SMS, not iMessage, which is what they're doing now.

(It may still not work. Apple has been claiming to be working on the problem they caused by inventing a proprietary texting protocol for more than a year, but I don't actually expect them to do anything about it. They never have "fixed" what they broke in the past.)

Did you happen to come from an iPhone? If so you are going to have to deregister your phone number from iMessage. That would be one reason you are not getting the messages. I am part of group conversations with family that are all iOS and I receive the messages just fine.
