How can i clear notice of software update?

Phone tells me to install update. I do not want to but cannnot clear it from pooping up every minute.

You can root the phone, then freeze the updater. Otherwise it'll accept a certain number (depending on the carrier) of rejects, then update without asking.

No. But it's probably something like 5. They don't want you walking in with a non-working phone running Eclair - they wnt to support only the latest version. (All software companies do - most of them don't update to nonsense like Lollipop - that doesn't work and that, on some phones, kills batteries. It's what you get when Marketing tells Engineering when Engineering will be finished writing the update.)
