will a Nexus S work on ATT 4g

[AC Question]

I have an ATT Microcell which needs 3or4g to connect. I have the settings suggested by ATT. The phone shows E but it doesn't connect to the Microcell. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Which Nexus S do you have? There were two different 3G models for AT&T and T-Mobile, and a 4G model for Sprint.

The i9020A (AT&T) will work on 3G on AT&T, the i9020T (TMobile) won't. The SPH-D720 (Sprint) won't work for anything on AT&T - voice, text or data.
