I'm not receiving my texts until days later...

My fiancé and I both have Kyocera Hydro ICON phones. We have no problem receiving texts from anyone in our contacts, except each other. sometimes it's days before I'll receive a text he sent me and vice-verca. It is becoming a very large problem. Ineed a way to fix this that i haven't tried we've both done factory resets and it still didn't help. On a different note, my voice recognition doesn't work any more either.

That is an odd one, you can get txt msgs on time from any contact on your identical phones except for each other. The universe much be playing a joke of some kind but this is one I haven't heard of. Typically a delayed txt msg affects all txt's not just one to one basis between two users. Resets haven't fixed it, has there been any updates on your phones, or have you reach out to the carrier?

Do any of your other contacts use the same network as both of you, maybe there is some issue with your carrier delivering txt msgs.
