How can I retrieve from the Trash Icon?

I have a Verizon Lucid 3 by LG. I'm new to it and I accidentally trashed the Time app which is in the front screen. I tapped to add a city and state; I tapped the wrong city tried to get rid off it and accidentally trashed the whole Time app located in the front screen.

Quick question to help you out, are you new to Android? Are you familiar with the app drawer, and the difference between removing an icon and completely uninstalling? I'm not at all trying to sound rude, genuine questions to help you get your icon back.

Basically, you may have simply removed the shortcut from your homescreen, but the app may still be installed. If so, you can simply add a new shortcut to your homescreen by following the instructions above.

You're probably looking to slide back a widget rather than an app. Go to the app drawer / list and look to switch to widgets with a Widget tab. If you are on Lollipop this may have changed so long press on the area it was on a Homescreen or any free space on a Homescreen and select Widgets.
It may be a Weather or clock widget, scroll through them all.
