A few months ago my Galaxy S5 was updated to 5.0. Since then I have been experiencing a very annoying problem with it. Very often (but not always) when I try to finish a call, putting handset down from my ear, it's screen stays black a bit longer (2-4 seconds) than usual and I can not press the respective on-screen button. Apart from that, sometimes the screen lights faintly but freezes for 8-10 seconds and I am forced to use the power button to bring it back to life... I have tried everything including factory reset etc. Even the local Samsung support didn't managed to help me and finally one of their guys advised me to wait for the next update or to revert back to 4.4. Does anyone have any idea or could advise me what to do?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a case on, or a screen protector that might be interfering with the proximity sensor?
