Samsung Galaxys4 phonebook synching to audi bluetooth

[AC Question]

My bluetooth was working fine in my audi q7 until the recent update to my samsung galaxy s4 until the recent update from at&t, Now there is no access to the phone directory although I can physically use the phonebook from the phone itself, the MMI in the car cannot access the phonebook. I can receive calls on the Bluetooth but can only make a call from the phone itself. What caused this problem and how can I fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! See what happens if you go to the Contacts app, tap Menu>Contacts to Display, and instead of choosing All Contacts, select Customize. Now select which groups you want (all of them if want). See if they transfer to the car now. I found that I had to do this on my Nexus 5 connecting with a 2008 BMW, I think after the Lollipop upgrade.
