ROM got jammed!

I installed s5 ROM on my canvas a177 but the phone shows the screen written samsung galaxy s5 and nothing happens after that, it got jammed! what to do?

It may be incompatible.
A factory reset may be the only way to go.

Reflashing the stock ROM is an option too.

Unless it was an S5 ROM ported to the A177, it won't work. You can't install the ROM for one model phone into another model phone. (Even one model S5 ROM won't work in another model S5.) As Golfdriver said, reflashing the stock ROM may be your only way out.
