Quick dunk in a clean? library toilet by 70% vertically(top dry).

It's ok, I am fairly sure, flip case covered the port, though water in the pen area. Back off: a tiny little moisture on one side of the inner black casing. (White phone)

Anyhow, I was able to power off with the screen and wiped it dry and checked around (this case saved my bacon before).

So it's off, in my pocket, I walk back to a public computer to take the battery out etc, but it first vibrates and I now have a screen a bit like a recovery screen with a large upright android saying Downloading ...Do not turn off target !!

Upper left in red Factory MODE
bottom line in red xxC START (CAN'T READ XX)
    In between are lines of

So I am due Lollipop but sammobile says its not out for mine today. I had no data connection in places in this library and wifi was locked out. I went outside where there's a signal for 10 minutes but it can't be downloading anything?

I guess I will take the battery out anyway, it's dry inside except if water got in the port or spen slot. The port seemed dry.

    Any ideas?

If you pull the battery, nothing will happen. You aren't pushing a file to the phone, so you are good. I agree with belodion, to follow Rukbat's guide on a wet phone, and hopefully, nothing gets damaged.

I know the guide, but can't do that right now. I'll just pull it and give it an hour. Thanks.
