Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge stuck on reboot screen, how can I get it off of the reboot screen?

Samsung Galaxy s6 edge stuck on reboot screen

I was using my phone and it went to the reboot screen where it shows the phone name and Android logo. I did the reboot where you hold down the power button and down volume key. It went to the reboot menu and I selected normal restart but then it just went back to the reboot screen and stayed there for an hour. So I rebooted again and selected turn off. I left it off almost an hour and then turned it back on, but it just stays on the same reboot screen and will not turn all the way on. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! I'd have a very low threshold to bring it back to the store for an exchange. But try booting into Recovery again and wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21027

Just wondering if you solved the problem? I'm having the same problem after accepting an android update, I've tried rebooting as described in B. Diddys link but it just keeps getting stuck on step 3, before it even gets to the recovery screen - the blue android screen stays at 30% and won't allow me to get any further.
