My Samsung Galaxy S5 will pair with my bluetooth but I'm not getting a connection.

My Galaxy S5 will pair with my Bluetooth but I'm not getting a connection. I know the Bluetooth is charged and it worked fine with my last phone. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of BT device is it? After it's paired, what happens if you go to Settings>Bluetooth and tap that BT device?
