Does it natively support UMS with for the SD Card slot?

I use my phone as a music player and refuse to stream or have my music hosted, seeing as the collection is approaching 100GB. I like having it locally on the device. MTP is obviously problematic and slow, does the LG flavor of Android support toggling to UMS to be able to view the SD card as removable storage?
