I upgraded today from the Samsung Galaxy S3, to the S6. My emails transferred over, but I noticed if I delete them from my S3, they are also gone now from my S6. I want to clean up my old phone for someone to use, but don't want to lose my emails.. how do I close the old phone and save the emails on my new one?

Welcome to Android Central! You should do a factory reset of the S3, if you're going to give it to someone else. That won't erase the emails on the server.

Even just deleting the email account on the S3 will delete the emails from the S3, if you don't want to delete everything else.
