Htc one x 123 wont work

Dialer wont let you dial123

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that the 1, 2, and 3 keys on the dialer keypad don't register anything? On other screens, do you notice if that area also doesn't respond to touch? Maybe the digitizer is faulty.

what is a digitizer is it part of the screen, there is a band in the miidle of my htc one x which which covers 123 on dialing pad is dead can use on full screen dialing pad but iloose the function that remembers numbers have dialed recently .any help would be gratefully appreciated thanks
