How to recover data from s3 mini after it erased itself?

I took the last picture yesterday at 5pm, put the samsung s3 mini in my purse. took it out again a couple of hours later, turned it on, and it began asking questions like a new phone....all my data is erased, contacts, messages, calendar, etc. I did not do any factory reset process, but I think this is what happened "automatically" is this even possible?

I want to recover all my data, how can I do this? I ran the wondershare dr phone for android application and it did not find any data to recover...

Please help...
