Kyocera Hydro 4.0.4 semi-bricked
My first root attempt didn't work. I bought another phone but would like to have this one just as a video camera, not to function as a phone. Recovery and safe mode work. Boots up with error "unfortunately, phone has stopped". I can navigate after touching "OK" button, but it pops up about every half a second. I know all the functions work but it's impossible to use this way. I think I saw something somewhere about downloading the OS ROM to the SD card and using recovery to flash it, but I don't know what ROM to use and don't know enough to know if another phones' ROM will work if flashed.
