On my Samsung S4 I can view a video I took, but when I connect the phone to my laptop, I cannot find the video file (to transfer) in Windows Explorer. When I select the video on the mobile and go to 'details' it tells me the title (201505033_003005), album (Camera), and path (/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera/201505033_003005.mp4) . But when I search all subfolders within Galaxy S4 for the title (via Windows on the laptop) it cannot be found. Ditto 'storage' and '.mp4'. There is no 'storage' folder. DCIM/Camera lists all the photos I've taken, but not the video. How do I find it on the camera to move it to my laptop?

Welcome to Android Central! When you connect the phone to the computer via USB, swipe down the notification panel and tap the USB connection notification. Is it set to MTP?

Huge thanks for your help. Turning on MTP made the video file visible and hence transferable. Brilliant!!!
