Updated to google lollipop, now unable to access my game of war account

I installed the the lollipop software update for my samsung 4s. I had games of war downloaded from google apps store and now I am unable to log in to my account. when I attempt to do so, it says my username and password do not match. I never changed either. Only thing different is the uploaded operating system software.

I emailed machine zone and they have sent a reply.

When using autocomplete to type in your username, lollipop will put an additional space at the end. After using autocomplete, press backspace. Another option is to type your full email address without using autocomplete.

I am back into the game!!
