How can I synch 2 Samsung tablets?

Samsung informed me that SideSync will not work between 2 tablets. For college, I need this capability. How can i accomplish this, aside from using Dropbox. 2 tablets are a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12,2 and a SamsungvGalaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, both running Android 4.4.2, neither is rooted. They each use a 128 GB USB SDXC card.

Sidesync is intended to share content to a computer from a phone or to a phone from a computer. It is not intended to, nor capable of, share content between tablets.

Best way would be to utilize Google drive to store the files you want available on both devices.
