AC Question

polaroid pmid730p using android jelly bean 4.1 I formatted 64gb sd card and this is the message I get when I put it in. press storage and the message I get is unfortunately settings have stopped. Is the card too large or do I need to do a reset. I have 32gb card ordered. The tablet settings go back to normal after the card is removed. The card works fine in pc and is formatted to fat32.

Welcome to Android Central! There are two main possibilities--(1) the device doesn't support anything higher than 32 GB (64 GB and above is SDXC, while 32 GB and below is SDHC), and (2) the card you got might be faulty or counterfeit. What brand card is it? Did you buy it from a well-known reputable store, or a random seller on eBay?

You could try another 64 GB SD card (preferably a top brand like Sandisk, purchased from a bricks-and-mortar store), and if that doesn't work, then the device most likely doesn't support SDXC.
