4G stopped working... 3G works fine... help?

had my phone for a year. 4G suddenly stopped working. my 3G works just fine. so today i went and bought a new phone. 4G worked great until i restarted my phone. now im again just using 3g. this is awful... any help will be appreciated.

What model device is it? How about your carrier? If you can list those, we can help you further.
