I'm looking into buying a Chromebook. I use Google services and live in the web. My Macbook Pro is major overkill.

I am having a hard time finding the right Chromebook though. I tried the Samsung 2012 Chromebook but felt it was too slow plus I enjoy a little bit larger screen.

It is nothing for me to have 8+ tabs in Chrome open during the workday. I don't think the 2GB of Ram found on most Chromebooks (from what I have found) seems enough.

Any suggestions out there as to which ones to look at? I know the Pixal 2 just came out but I really don't want to spend that kind of money. Are there any Chromebooks coming out this summer that are worth waiting for?

It seems like all the Chromebooks out there are very cheap or the one really high priced Pixal. There is nothing in between.

Welcome to the forums. You might want to look at the Acer C720. A nice little machine, and some of the newer ones seem to have been updated to 4GB RAM.
