    I have a different ringtone selected but it always uses whistle. I want to delete it from my phone

    Welcome to Android Central! I assume you have a Samsung phone. Default ringtones are saved in a protected system directory, so you'd have to root the phone in order to delete them.

    It certainly shouldn't be defaulting to the whistle constantly. I've seen this mentioned in several other posts, typically regarding the S4 or S5 updated to Lollipop. Is that what you have?
