GS3 slow charge with OEM charger and cable but fast charge with OEM charger and Blackberry cable?

Any ideas why that could be? I looked at my OEM cable and seen it was missing a pin, so I am like that's it. But then I read online and seen that samsung micro usb cables all have 4 pins, so it's not that. Could the cable be broken fromt the inside? I don't know what woud be broken because it charges but charges slowly. And if I use the charger with a blackberry cable it works fine.
