After the recent AT&T software update 3/31/15 my basic voice mail indicator has disappeared and AT&T has not been able to assist. I placed a call and told them I did not want visual voice mail as it was using up my battery charge and opted for basic instead (I had initially before the update). Now I have no way to know if I have a voice message or not. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings>Voicemail, and make sure it's still set up properly.
