How to stop data usage from samsung auto updates?

I have only had my phone for 2 weeks and the samsung updates is using up all of my data. How can I stop this. My carrier is Credo and they say it is not there doing, but they are charging me more for it. I don't use apps or Facebook etc.. just some youtube, but nothing since the LATE warning and it is still using more )-:

Welcome to the forums!

Go to the Galaxy Apps store and into settings and choose "wifi only". You do have a Samsung account in the phone, correct?
